Our Story

Crumb & Berry is a small (but growing) custom bake shop.
Founder Emily Smith grew up on a family farm on the outskirts of Toronto, where in her free time she discovered her love for baking with fresh produce and farm fresh eggs at her disposal. This love for baking continued throughout childhood and university, and eventually Emily streamlined her baking focus to cupcakes. It is the love for these bite-sized cakes and the numerous orders from friends and family that led her to start Crumb & Berry.

"Emily from Crumb & Berry is extremely talented at what she does. The hardest thing about work with her was that she does so many things well, we wanted it all! We were lucky enough to get a whole selection of desserts. Our wedding planner created a donut/cupcake wall and Emily made us 4 different kinds of cupcakes, 4 different kinds of donuts, and a 2-tiered wedding cake. Her desserts were not only visually stunning but also tasted amazing!! The cupcakes were organic and mouthwatering. The donuts were light and fluffy and full of flavour. She has so many amazing flavours and even did some custom ones for us. After our tasting in her adorable wood cabin, we knew we were in good hands and that the desserts would be thoroughly enjoyed.
